Job Description
Partner with stakeholders to determine requirements for scalable, reliable, and high-performance storage solutions.
Lead the design and implementation of enhancements to optimize the storage and disk control plane for AI-scale workloads. Identify and address bottlenecks in system performance and scalability while driving improvements across the platform.
Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to ensure system availability, performance, and fault tolerance, including participation in on-call rotations.
Leverage subject matter expertise in Azure Storage, Disk and distributed systems to influence technical decisions and product roadmaps. Partner with stakeholders to determine requirements for scalable, reliable, and high-performance storage solutions. Lead the design and implementation of enhancements to optimize the storage and disk control plane for AI-scale workloads. Identify and address bottlenecks in system performance and scalability while driving improvements across the platform. Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to ensure system availability, performance, and fault tolerance, including participation in on-call rotations. Leverage subject matter expertise in Azure Storage, Disk and distributed systems to influence technical decisions and product roadmaps. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C# or Java, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, OR Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience. 4+ years people management experience. 6+ years of hands-on software development experience with a focus on Cloud and large distributed systems architectures. 2+ years of experience being a technical lead.
