Job Description
The AAC Consultant will be responsible for conducting student-centered AAC assessments and recommending appropriate communication systems in compliance with educational standards. This role is actively involved with school teams, families, and related service providers to ensure students have meaningful access to communication and the curriculum. This position includes a hybrid work option that allows for a combination of on-site and remote work. On-site work is required for direct student assessments, device customization, staff coaching, and collaborative team meetings. Remote work will be permitted for tasks such as programming high-tech systems, documentation, data analysis, and coordinating with vendors, as appropriate and approved by the district administration
