$78-$80 DOE The Planet Group is looking for an Automation Engineer to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 5-months contract, working a hybrid onsite schedule in Culver City or Cupertino, CA Automation Engineer |
Qualifications:
5-7 years of professional software development experience Proficiency in
  • PHP•for backend development (Laravel or Symfony experience a plus) and Python Strong experience with •React.

  • , including hooks, component lifecycle, and state management Working knowledge of

  • for scripting, automation, or backend services Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization Experience with RESTful API design and consumption Familiarity with version control using Git Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows Experience with Python frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) Automation Engineer |
Description:
As part of the Automation Team, you will independently design and develop AI based intelligent automation solutions in line with requirements provided by the Product team Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and scripts for both existing functionality and new features. Contribute to multiple initiatives, balancing new feature development with documentation and on-time delivery. Communicate status and progress in a timely manner, including sprint review reports, presentations, and planning demos for new features and MVPs. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional meetings to strengthen collaboration within and across teams.
