Job Description

Axiom Technologies is a Global IT Services partner supporting medium to large-scale enterprises. Please visit our website for more information about what we do at www.axiomtechnologies.com We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate, ranging from simple activities to more complex plans. This role will provide on-site assistance to end-users within the organisation's desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
Duration :
6 months (with an option to extend for an additional 3-6 months)
Preferred Location :
India, LATAM, or US. India preffered.

We are seeking an experienced Lead Workload Automation Engineer / Architect to manage and modernize enterprise workload scheduling platforms, primarily IBM Tivoli/IBM Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWS) across on-prem and cloud environments. This role will lead platform architecture, upgrades, automation, operational reliability, and support mission-critical business workloads. The position also includes mentoring engineers and overseeing scheduling support teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead architecture, design, and support of
IBM TWS/IWS
platforms Manage platform upgrades, migrations, and modernization initiatives Define standards, governance, and best practices for workload automation Ensure platform reliability, monitoring, performance, and disaster recovery readiness Automate operational tasks using Shell, Python, or Perl scripting Lead troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis for critical issues Support integrations with enterprise applications, databases, and monitoring tools Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership to scheduling teams Participate in on-call rotations and support major production incidents Collaborate with global teams across US and EMEA time zones Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in enterprise workload automation 7+ years of hands-on
IBM TWS/IWS/IWA
administration experience Strong Linux/UNIX administration and troubleshooting skills Experience with scripting and automation (Shell, Python, Perl) Experience leading production support, incident management, and problem resolution Strong understanding of ITIL processes and change management Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience with DB2 HADR, Oracle, or PostgreSQL Knowledge of
TDWC/TDWB, REST/SOAP
APIs, and event-based scheduling Experience integrating SAP, file transfer tools, and enterprise applications Familiarity with Grafana, AppDynamics, OBM, and ServiceNow Experience with cloud platforms and workload modernization initiatives IT certifications are a plus Technical Skills Workload Automation
