Must-Have Skills:

Managing network infrastructure as code Python development GitHub Code Storage (Source Control) Building Ansible playbooks based on business requirements Creating supporting documentation (e.g., automation architecture, README, etc.) Ability to work independently and navigate complex or unclear processes without constant guidance The contractor will be responsible for: Developing robust automation workflows to support platform configuration, policy updates, and operational tasks. Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing application integrations using RESTful and/or SOAP APIs, including authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), data transformation, and error handling. Strong ability to work with API documentation, create secure and scalable endpoints, and integrate third-party services or internal systems. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger) and best practices for performance optimization and security compliance. Building integrations within management Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to interact with external systems (e.g., HashiCorp Vault). Creating custom tooling to simplify administrative processes and reduce manual effort for day-to-day platform operations. Collaborating with internal teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable automation solutions. Documenting automation architecture, processes, and usage guidelines to ensure maintainability and knowledge transfer. Troubleshooting and optimizing automation scripts for performance and reliability.
