Full Job Description About AmanTechs is a Michigan-based IT services provider specializing in network engineering, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and managed IT support. We partner with businesses throughout the Detroit Metro area to build secure, reliable, and scalable technology environments that drive success. Job Summary AMAN Technologies is looking for a Network Engineer who can help small and mid-sized businesses build more stable, secure, and well-documented network environments. This role blends project work, escalation support, and proactive infrastructure improvement across client environments. Duties Design, implement, and support firewalls, switches, wireless networks, and site connectivity. Troubleshoot routing, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and performance issues across client environments. Document network diagrams, standards, change procedures, and environment details. Support infrastructure refreshes, site rollouts, and network hardening projects. Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and internal stakeholders to resolve infrastructure issues. What we're looking for Experience supporting business network environments in an MSP, internal IT, or consulting role Working knowledge of firewalls, VLANs, switching, Wi-Fi design, VPNs, and network monitoring Strong troubleshooting discipline and clear client-facing communication Ability to document environments and explain technical findings in practical language Comfort working across multiple client environments with shifting priorities Nice to have Hands-on experience with Meraki, UniFi, SonicWall, Fortinet, Cisco, or similar platforms Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, endpoint security, or broader infrastructure support Certifications such as Network+, CCNA, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent experience Pay:
