Job Description We are seeking a Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Mist access points, Marvis AI, edge devices, Juniper routing and switching, and automation and a proven ability to deliver reactive and proactive support, align technical solutions to business needs, and drive network reliability and performance .
Responsibilities:
Conduct network information-gathering workshops to understand existing designs and new requirements. Learn customer organization, processes, and procedures to support a sustainable network. Test new designs, features, and functionality in lab environments and develop implementation and verification plans for production. Validate software patches and fixes in pre-production and deploy to production per plan. Troubleshoot equipment and network issues and manage JTAC cases for resolution. Process and track RMAs through problem resolution. Produce regular written status reports on design projects, equipment, and network issues. Lead technology workshops and provide case status updates, workarounds, and solutions. Train customer design, implementation, and support teams to configure and operate Juniper products. Assist in developing network and equipment operating procedures. Support production environments for Juniper products and define best practices for customer use cases. Peer with other resident engineers to share lessons learned and minimize upgrade risk. Develop secondary skills across the Juniper product portfolio.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Mist design and deployment experience, including wireless assurance. Proficiency with Mist API and Web UI; hands-on with Mist APs, Marvis AI, and edge devices. Experience in Juniper Campus Fabric designs using Mist; Apstra experience. 5+ years in design, implementation, and operations of large-scale IP networks.
JUNOS CLI
proficiency; large-scale experience with QFX, EX, and PTX platforms.
EVPN/VXLAN
expertise in enterprise or data center environments.
Strong routing knowledge:
BGP (eBGP, iBGP) and OSPF. Automation background with Ansible, YAML, Juniper PyEZ, and Python scripting. Clear communication in crisis and executive-facing presentation skills. Ability to translate complex requirements into best-practice solutions and support major upgrades and maintenance windows.
Technical certifications:
JNCIS-MistAI (Wireless) and JNCIP-MistAI, supported by practical operational experience with Mist and the web UI.
Preferred Skills:
Experience preparing and validating Juniper configurations for installs, changes, and upgrades. Development of fault diagnosis and operational procedures for Juniper products. Network health assessments, integration and migration planning, and upgrade validation testing. Troubleshooting of complex network issues and ongoing knowledge transfer.
