Job Description

Network Engineer We are looking for a network engineer who will be responsible for maintaining and administering our networks and networking systems. Your primary duties will include maintenance of both wired, wireless, and Azure cloud networks, in addition to administration and maintenance of hardware, software, and other related systems, performing disaster recovery operations, protecting data, software, and hardware from attacks, and replacing faulty network hardware components when necessary. You will also provide Level 3 support for network users and respond to network outages. To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot on-premises network devices including APs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers, as well as cloud network resources such as Virtual Networks, Virtual Machines, Route tables, and all associated networking configurations.
Requirements:
Ability to work in person - this position is not remote Bachelor s degree in information technology related field of study with a network engineering focus OR equivalent work experience and certifications. Experience working with Azure cloud resources and virtual networks. Strong understanding of on-premises and cloud networking concepts and network hardware. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems. Network security experience. Have 8+ years in Microsoft System Administration. Love troubleshooting application issues alongside the development team. A ninja in Active Directory, Group Policy, and server troubleshooting. Love automating manual processes by using scripting, software, or by doing it a better way. Network troubleshooting abilities are out of this world.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining and administering on-premises and Azure network resources and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations. Strong understanding of various server and cloud systems (SQL, IIS, AD, Exchange, AWS, O365, Azure). Participate in the creation of documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures) under the direction of the VP of IT, where appropriate. Maintain up-to-date detailed knowledge of the IT infrastructure industry including awareness of new or revised IT solutions, improved processes, and the development of new platforms to continually improve our IT systems. Provide on-call support for the IT Infrastructure. Manage and prioritize multiple related projects, including troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance of the enterprise in a team environment. Designing, configuring, and testing networking infrastructure, applications, and systems.
