Network Engineer II (VoIP / Telecom Migration)

Contract:

12 months + possible extension No C2C candidates, only W2 Must be able to obtain a USPS Government Security Clearance We are actively hiring Network Engineers to support a large-scale USPS migration project within a major telecom environment. This is a high-impact role focused on VoIP services, number porting, and telecom migration activities . Overview You will support activation, migration, and troubleshooting of VoIP services , working closely with internal teams, vendors, and customers. This role is execution-focused with high volume and fast turnaround expectations. Key Responsibilities Perform telephone number porting (LNP) and verify completion Execute VoIP service activations and migrations Manage routing updates in Broadsoft / Sonus environments Perform call testing, call tracing, and troubleshooting Lead customer/vendor bridge calls during activations Validate orders, perform pre-install testing, and resolve issues Document all activities in workflow systems and meet SLA timelines Required Qualifications Strong experience in VoIP / telecom (LNP, routing, call flows) Hands-on with: Broadsoft / Broadworks and Sonus (Ribbon) platforms Ability to perform call tracing and troubleshooting Strong Excel skills (data validation, comparison, macros) Excellent communication, ownership, and organizational skills Preferred Certifications /

Background Knowledge of:

Routers, switches, SBCs Cisco, Audiocodes, Polycom devices Certifications like

CCNA / CCNP
