Full-time Reports to: IT Infrastructure Manager Purpose The Network Engineer designs, implements, and maintains enterprise network infrastructure to support PANTHERx's growth as a leading rare disease pharmacy. This role is critical to our strategic infrastructure initiatives, including self-hosting our pharmacy management platform (CareTend) across geographically distributed data centers, Azure cloud networking, and telecom systems. Responsibilities Designs, configures, and deploys network infrastructure for large-scale environments, including on-premises data centers and Azure cloud connectivity. Performs troubleshooting and diagnosis assistance for network and telecom equipment, and coordinates resolution with senior team members. Owns end-to-end implementation of Azure networking solutions, including ExpressRoute circuits, virtual networks, VPN gateways, and hybrid connectivity. Follows specific procedures for documenting incidents and updating knowledge base. Maintains and follows project implementations schedules. Configures and deploys equipment in accordance with project implementation plan. Utilizes network management tools for event monitoring and fault isolation. Performs activities required for timely completion of voice and data projects (e.g. installation, configuration, testing, status meetings, etc.) Collaborates with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support strategic projects and day-to-day operations. Documents network architecture, configurations, and standard operating procedures. Monitors network performance using modern observability tools and respond to incidents. Participates in on-call rotation for critical infrastructure support Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and managing enterprise network infrastructure. Proven experience with Azure networking , including ExpressRoute, VNets, NSGs, and hybrid connectivity Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Experience troubleshooting advanced
LAN/WAN/SAN
issues and ability to work on problem diagnosis. Experience implementing medium scale network projects (ex. multiple switches and routers), creating and following project plans using MS project, and using advanced network management tools such as CiscoWorks and Openview. Advanced knowledge of the OSI layer model and hands on experience with advanced routing technologies (ex.
OSPF, EIGRP
) and advanced switching technologies (ex. VLAN trunking, STP). Advanced experience configuring and installing Aruba and Fortinet network equipment. Preferred Qualifications Cisco CCNP or equivalent preferred. Experience in the healthcare industry. Azure certifications (AZ-700 Azure Network Engineer Associate, AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent) Cisco CCNP or equivalent networking certification Experience in DevOps practices (Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, automation) or secondary infrastructure expertise (Windows Server, storage, virtualization) Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated industries Familiarity with network automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python) Experience with SD-WAN solutions and multi-site WAN optimization

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
