Let's take a closer look at the role Job Description Key Responsibilities Support the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and security policies. Administer and maintain Cisco Meraki switching and wireless environments, including VLAN management and connectivity troubleshooting. Monitor network performance and alerts; identify, troubleshoot, and escalate issues such as outages, latency, and connectivity disruptions. Perform firmware updates, patching, and assist with change management procedures across network devices. Maintain accurate network documentation and support hybrid connectivity between on-premises systems and cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure). Days and Shift Information Full-time position Standard business hours with occasional after-hours support Participation in an on-call rotation for network support and incident response Work Environment Office-based or hybrid work environment depending on business needs Collaborative team setting within the TechOps/IT department Fast-paced environment supporting a multi-site enterprise network infrastructure Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred Equivalent hands-on experience or relevant certifications may be considered in place of formal education Experience 1-3 years of experience in a network support, IT support, or similar technical role Foundational knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, and DNS Exposure to or experience with Fortinet firewalls and/or Cisco Meraki environments preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms is a plus Experience with network monitoring tools, documentation practices, and basic troubleshooting methodologies Personality Traits Eager to learn with a strong sense of curiosity about systems and networking Hands-on and proactive, with a willingness to take ownership of assigned tasks Detail-oriented and disciplined in following processes and maintaining documentation Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to ask thoughtful questions Reliable team player with clear communication skills and a collaborative approach Additional Information Pay / Benefits / Perks Pay rate: $85,000
Paid Time Off:
Accrue up to five days of PTO in the first year; two weeks of vacation plus one week of PTO accrued upon first anniversary.
