ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide support in a 24x7x365 Network Operations Center (NOC) environment that monitors, resolves, tests, and escalates network DAS and Small Cell issues. This role ensures compliance with customer requirements and service level agreements while maintaining network stability and performance. The position operates on a hybrid schedule, including third-shift coverage.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Serve as primary support for Small Cell Operations by managing internal and customer devices, analyzing alarms, and taking action to restore service. Engage field operations and Tier 2 support teams for network equipment issues as needed. Respond to client requests and proactively notify customers of network problems and business impacts. Review planned and unplanned changes to network infrastructure. Monitor DAS and Small Cell networks using provided tools to remotely access equipment and resolve alarms. Utilize monitoring tools to localize network issues affecting host or remote equipment. Correlate multiple alarm conditions or tickets to identify root causes and potential resolutions. Provide and track communications with fiber providers regarding alarm status and resolution. Deliver external communications and updates to customers on alarm status and escalations. Interface with field personnel to verify repairs, test alarm systems, and document resolutions. Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting of DAS network alarms. Act as first point of contact during outages, coordinating communication across customers, contractors, and internal teams. Maintain knowledge of products, processes, and systems used within the NOC environment.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education / Certifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Engineering or related degree or equivalent experience and/or technical training in electronics Skills and Experience Experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar environment Understanding of DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) and Small Cell networks Strong troubleshooting and alarm analysis skills Ability to interpret network monitoring tools and systems Experience coordinating with field technicians and cross-functional teams Strong communication skills for both internal teams and external customers Ability to prioritize and manage multiple incidents in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes Ability to identify root cause through alarm correlation and system analysis Where you will work This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Friday and Monday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed. Compensation The pay range offered for this position is $27.40 - $37.64 per hour. A candidate's offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives
