Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Oracle Fusion Payroll HCM Specialist to lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Human Capital Management (HCM) Payroll modules. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in payroll processes, system architecture, and IT infrastructure to optimize payroll operations and ensure seamless integration with broader HR systems. Your proactive approach and technical acumen will drive efficiency, accuracy, and compliance across payroll functions, supporting our organization's commitment to employee satisfaction and operational excellence. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement Oracle Fusion Payroll HCM solutions aligned with organizational needs and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payroll systems with other enterprise applications using RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and service-oriented architecture principles. Manage system administration tasks including user access control, system upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and security. Configure payroll workflows, tax calculations, benefits processing, and compliance rules within Oracle Fusion HCM. Monitor system performance using load balancing techniques and optimize infrastructure for scalability on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Develop custom scripts and automation using PL/SQL, Python, Bash scripting, or PowerShell to streamline payroll processing tasks. Maintain documentation of system architecture, solution design, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes, and security protocols including information security standards like firewalls, VPNs, DNS management. Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accurate payroll processing in line with legal requirements. Provide ongoing support for payroll-related issues by troubleshooting system errors related to T-SQL queries, PostgreSQL databases, or Oracle databases. Stay current with emerging technologies such as Kubernetes, VMware ESXi/ESXi virtualization platforms, containerization practices like Docker for deployment efficiency. Qualifications Proven experience working with Oracle Fusion Payroll HCM modules in a complex enterprise environment. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components including RAID controllers, load balancing solutions, firewalls, VPNs, DNS management, DHCP services. Hands-on experience with system design and architecture involving microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, service-oriented architecture (SOA), and DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab. Proficiency in programming languages including JavaScript, Java, Python; scripting languages such as Bash or Shell Scripting; SQL dialects like T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server; PL/SQL for Oracle databases. Knowledge of operating systems including Windows Server and Linux distributions; virtualization technologies such as VMware ESXi/ESXi; container orchestration using Kubernetes. Familiarity with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB; experience managing MySQL or PostgreSQL databases for data storage solutions. Understanding of IT security principles including information security policies, firewall configuration, VPN setup; experience implementing secure API integrations. Experience working within Agile development environments following SDLC methodologies; familiarity with solution architecture frameworks for enterprise systems design. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; certifications in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), system administration or network security are a plus. $80.00 - $82.00 per hour
