Job Description
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a PowerShell Engineer to support a company focused on enterprise-scale endpoint engineering and Windows 11 automation within a large government IT environment. This position is remote with 5% travel to San Diego, CA. The PowerShell Engineer will design and build advanced automation solutions to support enterprise endpoint lifecycle management. Join a mission-critical team enabling secure, scalable automation for hundreds of thousands of users. Responsibilities for the PowerShell Engineer include: Design, develop, and implement scalable PowerShell-based automation frameworks from scratch Analyze, reverse engineer, and enhance existing PowerShell codebases and enterprise solutions Architect automation solutions supporting Windows 11 endpoint engineering and OS deployment Integrate PowerShell solutions with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory, SCCM/MECM, Intune) Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize scripts to improve performance and reliability Required Qualifications for the PowerShell Engineer include: 5+ years of experience developing PowerShell solutions in an engineering or development capacity Strong experience with PowerShell modules, advanced functions, scripting architecture, and automation frameworks Proven ability to build new solutions, maintain large codebases, and integrate with APIs (REST/Graph API preferred) Active Secret security clearance; Security+ CE preferred or willingness to obtain Compensation for the PowerShell Engineer include:
