Job Description A large telecommunications company is seeking a fully remote Network Technician II for a contract role through 2025. This individual will support a large-scale initiative involving approximately 10,000 network sites. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to network site activation failures, managing ticket resolution, and coordinating with vendors and customers to resolve issues. The role will primarily focus on troubleshooting VPN connectivity, working across Layers 1-3 of the OSI model. The ideal candidate is highly technical, able to ramp up quickly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Targeting $30 an hour! BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, IPV 4/6
Enterprise level experience with routing hardware such as Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel OSI model comfortability layers 1-3 Exposure to Ethernet technologies (preferably Ethernet transport) IP subnetting experience Proficiency with switching on multi-tenant customer networks Experience communicating verbal and written to customers and/or vendors
