Role:
Modern infrastructure demands more than keeping networks online. At Andes Digital Infrastructure Group we build cloud-first systems designed for performance, scalability, and security at enterprise scale. We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer who can take ownership of critical cloud networking initiatives across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This is not a maintenance-only role. You will help shape the architecture behind high-availability infrastructure, collaborate with cloud and cybersecurity teams, and influence how our systems evolve over the next several years. You will work on complex networking challenges involving AWS, Azure, SD-WAN, VPN connectivity, network automation, and cloud security. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a practical mindset. You understand how to build reliable infrastructure while balancing speed, scalability, and operational efficiency. Why Work With Us? The Environment:
Our Omaha-based team values collaboration, technical curiosity, and problem-solving. You will work in a professional environment where engineers are trusted to make meaningful technical decisions. Technical Ownership:
We believe infrastructure engineers should have a voice in architecture decisions. You will work closely with leadership, cybersecurity teams, and cloud operations from Day 1. Modern Infrastructure:
Our environment includes AWS, Azure, hybrid cloud deployments, SD-WAN technologies, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-grade security solutions. Growth Opportunities:
We support ongoing professional development through certifications, training programs, and exposure to large-scale cloud infrastructure projects. Stability and Impact:
This is an opportunity to join a growing organization investing heavily in digital infrastructure modernization and cloud transformation. Key Responsibilities:
Cloud Network Architecture:
Design, implement, and optimize secure cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and hybrid environments. Infrastructure Reliability:
Maintain high availability, performance, and scalability across enterprise network systems and cloud services. Network Security:
Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, segmentation, access controls, and secure connectivity solutions. Automation and Optimization:
Improve operational efficiency through scripting, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code practices. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with DevOps, infrastructure, and cybersecurity teams to support cloud deployments and enterprise initiatives. Troubleshooting and Support:
Diagnose and resolve complex networking, latency, routing, and connectivity issues across cloud and on-premise systems. Documentation and Standards:
Maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, operational procedures, and architecture standards. Technical Leadership:
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers while contributing to technical planning and long-term infrastructure strategy. What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in cloud networking, enterprise infrastructure engineering, or network architecture roles. Cloud Platforms:
Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or hybrid cloud environments. Networking Expertise:
Advanced understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VPNs, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, SD-WAN, and enterprise networking concepts. Infrastructure Tools:
Experience with automation technologies such as Terraform, Ansible, or Python scripting. Enterprise Platforms:
Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Juniper, or similar enterprise networking technologies. Problem Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues in fast-paced environments. Communication Skills:
Comfortable collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple teams. Pay:
