Position Summary
Supervisor, Network Engineering designs, implements, and maintains enterprise networking infrastructure supporting business operations and corporate systems across ProEnergy's global locations. This role focuses on traditional IT networking environments including LAN/WAN connectivity, wireless networks, cloud integration, and network security for office environments and business applications. The position requires strong technical skills in modern networking technologies while supporting digital transformation initiatives and remote work capabilities.

Position Responsibilities
Design and architect enterprise-scale network solutions using industry-leading technologies
Implement and manage enterprise switching and routing environments
Configure and optimize routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP
Design SD-WAN solutions and implement software-defined networking
Develop network topology designs for high availability and performance
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation and standards
Lead network infrastructure projects from conception to implementation
Deploy and manage network access control systems for device authentication
Configure and maintain next-generation firewalls and security appliances
Implement advanced VPN solutions including site-to-site and remote access
Design and implement network segmentation and micro-segmentation strategies
Manage cloud-based security platforms and threat intelligence systems
Coordinate with cybersecurity teams on advanced security policies and controls
Implement zero-trust network architectures and secure access solutions
Design and implement enterprise wireless networks using modern standards
Configure wireless controllers and centralized management systems
Implement guest network access and BYOD security policies
Support remote work technologies including secure remote access solutions
Optimize wireless coverage, capacity, and performance across multiple locations
Troubleshoot complex wireless connectivity and performance issues
Implement location services and wireless analytics platforms
Implement advanced cloud networking solutions for major cloud platforms
Configure hybrid connectivity including dedicated circuits and cloud interconnects
Design and implement SD-WAN solutions for optimized cloud connectivity
Manage network connectivity for cloud-based applications and services
Implement network automation and infrastructure as code practices
Support digital transformation initiatives requiring advanced network connectivity
Integrate on-premises networks with cloud services for seamless hybrid operations
Develop automation tools for network configuration and monitoring
Implement API integrations for network management platforms
Monitor network performance using enterprise monitoring and analytics tools
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex network connectivity issues
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to network engineering teams
Participate in change management processes and emergency response procedures
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering, or Associate's degree with extensive relevant experience
Minimum 15+ years of enterprise networking experience with demonstrated expertise
Strong background in complex routing, switching, and advanced network security
Proven experience leading network design and implementation projects
Experience with enterprise-scale network deployments and transformations
On-Call:
Participation in rotation for network emergency response
Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills.

Technical Skills
Expert-level knowledge of enterprise network operating systems and platforms
Advanced proficiency with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and enterprise switching technologies
Deep expertise in network security including next-generation firewalls, VPN, and access controls
Extensive experience with wireless networking standards and enterprise wireless platforms
Proficiency with network automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code
Advanced understanding of cloud networking and SD-WAN technologies
Experience with network access control systems and identity management integration

Experience serving as technical lead or architect on large-scale network projects

Proven track record of driving network transformation and modernization initiatives
Experience working as trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders
History of building and leading high-performing technical teams
Working Conditions
Work in power generation facilities and industrial environments
