Job Description

Computer Engineer II CPMG vision insurance, paid time off, 401(k) United States, South Carolina, Charleston May 29, 2026 Overview Please note that this position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract currently under bid. A leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, CPMG focuses on using business drivers to guide cybersecurity activities and manage risk. CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.
Summary:
The Computer Engineer II provides technical engineering support for enterprise virtualization, cloud, and infrastructure modernization initiatives supporting the
DHA CIMPLE
environment.
Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:
Support installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of VMware and Citrix environments. Assist with virtualization infrastructure implementation and operational sustainment activities. Monitor system performance, availability, and operational health. Support patching, upgrades, system migrations, and technical refresh activities. Assist with storage, backup, disaster recovery, and enterprise hosting operations. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Support cybersecurity compliance and RMF activities. Maintain technical documentation and system configurations.
Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Familiarity with Windows server environments and networking fundamentals. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
One (1) year of technical experience in support of VMWare or Citrix projects. The contractor shall have a
TOP SECRET
(TS) facility clearance (FCL) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access (TS/SCI).
Preferred Qualifications:
