Job Description

The Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, performance, and reliability of the organization's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) environment, with primary focus on Configuration, Network, and Controls (CNC) functions. This role also provides administrative and technical support for other integrated enterprise applications, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient operation across the application landscape. This position can sit in Stow OH, Troy OH, or Spartanburg SC.
Responsibilities:
Administering, configuring, and maintaining JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments, including development, test, and production. Managing package builds, deployments, promotions, upgrades, ESUs, tools releases, and patches. Monitoring and troubleshooting system performance, availability, and CNC-related issues. Supporting JDE application servers, WebLogic servers, and associated components. Partner with security and functional teams to manage JDE security and access. Maintaining system documentation, standards, and operational procedures. Providing administration and operational support for other enterprise and integrated applications. Supporting application upgrades, configuration changes, and vendor coordination. Monitoring performance, system health, and application availability. Supporting integrations, interfaces, and data flows between enterprise systems. Collaborating with infrastructure, database, and security teams to ensure system stability and compliance. Participating in change management, incident response, and release planning activities. Providing escalation support and technical guidance to application support teams. Supporting audit requirements, disaster recovery planning, and testing. Providing occasional off-hours and on-call support for system maintenance, upgrades, or critical issue resolution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer information systems, computer science or a related technical discipline and a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience is required. In lieu of a degree, a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience is required. Demonstrated prior experience administering JD Edwards EnterpriseOne environments. Strong understanding of enterprise application and system architecture. Experience supporting business-critical systems in a production environment. Experience supporting multiple enterprise applications beyond JD Edwards is desirable. Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft SQL server environments is desirable. Oracle WebLogic or other enterprise web server experience is desirable. Experience in manufacturing or enterprise ERP environments preferred. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks. Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize work accordingly. Self-manager of projects, deadlines, and time. Effective communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal. Ability to provide occasional off-hours and on-call support for system maintenance, upgrades, or critical issue resolution.
