- Service Provider Description Our client, a provider operating at the intersection of satellite and cellular networking, is seeking a Senior Network Architect to own a complex, multi-site, carrier-grade network environment supporting LEO/GEO satellite and 5G connectivity.
The organization enables mission-critical IoT and M2M deployments—including grid sensors, smart meters, and remote monitoring systems—where traditional connectivity is not available. Data flows from edge devices through satellite ground stations, 5G networks, and terrestrial infrastructure into customer environments that rely on real-time operational visibility. This is a high-impact, hands-on architecture role responsible for both strategy and execution. You will design scalable Layer 2/3 and overlay networks, drive modernization efforts, and serve as a key technical partner to client network architects during integration and deployment. The environment is compact (~80-100 core devices) but highly critical, requiring strong ownership of reliability, security, and performance across non-traditional transport conditions including satellite, cellular, and fiber.
