Network Engineer (Mid-Level) -
Enterprise Environment Location:
Las Vegas, NV Area (Onsite)
Duration:
6-Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension/Conversion)
Compensation:
Competitive Hourly Rate We're partnering with a large, enterprise-level organization in a mission-critical industry to bring on a Network Engineer to support a high-availability infrastructure environment. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in maintaining network stability, performance, and reliability across multiple locations. What You'll Be Doing Support, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure Work with routers, switches, and firewalls in a production environment Assist with network design, implementation, and upgrades Respond to incidents (latency, outages, connectivity issues) and drive resolution Collaborate with internal IT teams to ensure uptime and optimal performance Participate in an on-call rotation What We're Looking For Strong foundation in networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls) Experience supporting enterprise-level network environments Understanding of network topology and troubleshooting methodologies Hands-on experience diagnosing real-world network issues Cisco certifications (CCNA/CCDA) are a plus but not required Why This Role Stands Out Exposure to a large-scale, highly regulated enterprise environment Opportunity to work across infrastructure, security, and operations Clear path for long-term growth or conversion High-impact role supporting systems that demand reliability and uptime Interview Process Initial virtual interview Final onsite/team discussion
