Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm and some on call after normal business hours when needed
Job Duties:
The Enterprise Applications and Governance Specialist - Level 1 is responsible for supporting the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of enterprise software systems within a structured governance framework. This entry-level role requires a foundational understanding of PC operations, file systems, and data handling, along with strong communication skills to assist users and resolve technical issues remotely. The specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines. Candidates must be capable of assisting with complex system deployments and upgrades, and possess working knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems, SQL databases, and DB2. Basic network troubleshooting skills are also essential to ensure reliable application performance and compliance with governance standards.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) or a related field is required; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates must demonstrate strong PC skills and a solid understanding of file management. Excellent verbal communication skills are essential, particularly for diagnosing and resolving technical issues over the phone. The role requires the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities are critical. Candidates should be capable of supporting complex system deployments and upgrades. A working knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems, SQL database platforms, and DB2 is required, along with basic network troubleshooting skills.
