DescriptionApple is looking for an Optical Network Engineer to join their Global Network Services (GNS) team. The ideal candidate to fill the position will work in a dynamic team environment, leading and executing large-scale optical network projects from planning through deployment and handover. The ideal candidate combines deep hands-on optical networking expertise with proven project management skills on large-scale deployments. Additionally, the role requires the ability to develop custom applications and automation tools to streamline network configuration, audit, and onboarding processes, driving efficiency and reducing deployment times in complex environments. The successful candidate will need to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This engineer will need to obsess over the customer experience and drive excellence in their everyday work habits through strong technical leadership and mentorship.\
