Senior Network Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is looking for Sr Network Engineers to support new infrastructure projects for a retail customer's Network Datacenter team. Support would include some travel to Austin, otherwise 3 days per week on site in Coppell, TX.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues (L2/L3 support)
• Configure and maintain Cisco network security and access solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network reliability and performance
• Monitor network systems and proactively address performance or security concerns

• 5+ years of experience working with data center specific network project work
• Experience creating rules with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
• Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD)
• Cisco Meraki solutions (wireless, switching, and security)
• Experience supporting enterprise-level network environments
• Hands‑on experience configuring, managing, and supporting Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs)
• Ability to troubleshoot across multiple layers of the network stack
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or higher)
• Experience in large-scale or multi-site environments
• Strong communication and documentation skills
