What you will be doing  Develop and configure control strategies for distributed control systems (DCS), PLCs, and related automation platforms.  Prepare functional and design specifications, perform FAT/SAT, and lead commissioning activities.  Implement changes and improvements using structured change control processes.  Monitor and optimize automation systems for stability, performance, and safety.  Troubleshoot control logic, instrumentation, and network issues to minimize downtime.  Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, logic, and system architecture.  Apply relevant standards (e.g., IEC 62443, ISA‑88/ISA‑95) for security and system integrity.  Ensure proper backup, version control, and disaster recovery procedures for automation systems.  Integrate automation systems with plant historians, MES, and IT platforms for data visibility and analytics.  Support digitalization initiatives and advanced process control projects.  Work closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams to align automation solutions with operational needs.  Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders and contractors during upgrades or migrations. Who we are looking for Functional Requirements  Degree in Automation, Electrical/Control Engineering, or equivalent experience.  Hands‑on experience with industrial control systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA) and process automation principles.
