Yokogawa Corporation of America seeks Control Systems/Automation Engineers in Sugar Land, TX. Facilitate regular preventive maintenance of technology. Develop KPI for hardware issues and monitor the KPI to ensure high system availability. Provide a dashboard for all system related issues and resolutions. Conduct study of operational alarms and offer technical recommendations for alarm rationalization. Escalate cases to company Technical Assistance Center as required under corporate protocol. Install patches and updates, and participate in revision control. Distribute applicable service notes for information and implementation. Support Plant operations in various proprietary equipment maintenance activities. Provide periodic technical reports to management. Perform Yearly System Health Check. Proactively identify technical opportunities for control system improvements. Develop solutions that integrate company systems and products. Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineer or closely related engineering, or foreign equivalent. Requires 5 years of experience in a related occupation with progressive responsible experience in control and safety systems, industrial automation, or related engineering field.
