Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks. Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP. Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security. Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting. Arranging scheduled upgrades, Investigating faults in the network. Install, configure, and support an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system. Assisting in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software. Perform feasibility studies, and evaluate user requirements. Must be willing to travel for setting up various systems to various clients at unanticipated locations within the United States for short term and long term durations. Must be willing to travel to various unanticipated locations in the United States. There is no international travel. There is also no relocation required. Any travel requirements will be entirely temporary in nature (up to but not exceeding 25%) and the hired employee will and the hired employee will work the vast majority of the time from Employer address. The travel will be to help clients set up systems from the client end.
