CODING TEST HAS TO BE TAKEN IN 2 HRS
The Role This role is for a Software Engineer in Test focused on building and maintaining automated testing solutions for web applications, APIs, and data validation platforms within a wealth management technology environment. The position requires 7 9 years of experience in software test automation and a strong development mindset, with responsibilities spanning test framework design, automation development, CI/CD integration, deployment support, and overall software quality improvement. The engineer will work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality releases, improve test coverage, accelerate release cycles, and enhance production stability while contributing to modern engineering practices and automation strategies. Key technical requirements include strong experience with Playwright or Cypress, Rest Assured, Java, TypeScript, Node.js, SQL, AWS, Jenkins, Git-based source control, and API testing tools such as Insomnia or Bruno. Additional experience with Angular, Swagger, Jira, Xray, Splunk, Datadog, chaos testing, accessibility testing, and DevOps pipeline management is highly valued. The role seeks someone who can build scalable automation frameworks, support deployment orchestration, manage code branches and release pipelines, and leverage modern tools including AI-assisted development solutions such as GitHub Copilot. Financial services experience is preferred, and the ideal candidate demonstrates ownership, accountability, strong collaboration skills, and a focus on delivering exceptional end-to-end customer experiences.
