Job Description

Job Summary Seeking a Senior SDET Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and CI/CD engineering to design and maintain scalable automated testing platforms and quality engineering solutions. This role focuses on building robust automation frameworks, supporting cloud-native applications, and driving software quality through modern testing methodologies and engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Java-based automation frameworks, web and API testing tools, and enterprise CI/CD environments. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, document, and maintain automated testing frameworks and in-house software utilities Build and maintain web-based and API-based automation solutions Develop scalable automation platforms and support CI/CD implementation initiatives Design and execute automated tests for enterprise applications and services Develop maintainable and high-quality automation code using Java-based frameworks Apply test-driven development and test automation best practices Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve automation and application issues Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to improve software quality processes Support cloud-based testing and deployment environments Maintain and improve automation pipelines and testing infrastructure Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to software engineering standards Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality engineering practices Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience with web-based and API-based automation tools including Selenium, REST Assured, Playwright, Cucumber, and Karate 5+ years of experience developing automation frameworks and solutions using Java 5+ years of experience architecting automation test platforms and CI/CD pipelines Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud environments Strong experience designing and developing automated tests and software utilities Strong understanding of test-driven development and software engineering best practices Experience debugging and troubleshooting automation solutions Experience delivering maintainable and scalable automation code Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Agile and DevOps environments Experience supporting enterprise-scale automation and cloud-native applications Familiarity with distributed systems and microservices testing Experience with modern observability and monitoring practices
