Job Description

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is a leading-edge cybersecurity firm with a mission to safeguard and protect our customers from increasing threats and vulnerabilities in this digital age. TDI is seeking an experienced VMware Virtualization Administrator to support large-scale migrations and operations on a large, high-profile DOD contract. As the VMware Administrator, you will be accountable for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's virtual infrastructure, focusing on VMware technologies. This role will involve managing virtual machines for servers, desktops, and networking components critical to the operations of our enterprise environment. This position requires fully onsite support to the Fort Belvoir, VA area and active TS/SCI level clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Deploy, administer, and optimize VMware ESXi, vCenter, and Omnissa VDI environments across multiple physical sites. Manage and maintain VDI infrastructure components, including connection brokers, gateways, profile management, load balancing, and virtual desktop lifecycle operations. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtual infrastructure performance, availability, and resource utilization, resolving issues related to virtualization, networking, connectivity, and system performance. Implement and maintain virtualization technologies, including distributed switching, VLANs, backup and disaster recovery solutions, and integration with enterprise network, storage, and security architectures. Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation to ensure a secure, compliant, and highly available virtualized environment. Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to design, implement, and enhance virtualization solutions that support mission and operational requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and current DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE or equivalent). Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; additional experience may be substituted for education. Experience administering VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi, vCenter Server, vSAN, vSphere Networking, and Omnissa Horizon technologies (App Volumes, DEM, UAGs). Proficiency with Active Directory, Windows Server, FSLogix, Dell Wyse management, virtualization best practices, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or PowerCLI for automation tasks. VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) certifications.
