This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting secure network infrastructure, with a heavy focus on firewall configuration, optimization, and incident response. Key Responsibilities Configure, manage, and optimize Palo Alto (PAN-OS) and Juniper (SRX) firewalls in a production environment Develop and maintain firewall rules, NAT policies, VPN configurations (site-to-site and remote access) Monitor network traffic and security alerts; investigate and remediate potential threats Perform firewall upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to enforce network security best practices Troubleshoot network connectivity, performance issues, and firewall-related incidents Support audits and ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements Document network designs, configurations, and standard operating procedures Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls (PAN-OS) and Juniper SRX firewalls Experience with firewall policy management, NAT, VPNs, and network segmentation Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing (BGP, OSPF), and switching Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools Ability to analyze logs and perform root cause analysis on network/security incidents Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do. ® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
