Cabling Engineer

Overview:

We are currently hiring a Cabling/Network Engineer for a long term, multi year contract in Newport News, VA.

Description:

Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes. Network design and implementations. Outside Plant and Inside Plant cabling. Develop scope of work.

Qualifications:

US Citizenship. BS in Engineering (ABET) 2 years of relevant experience. Understanding the types of network cables. Troubleshooting skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written.

Additional Information:

Long term, multi year contract. First shift, Monday-Friday.

Pay Rate:

$40-$50/hr based on experience. Benefits offered. 1 step interview process.
