Support positive provider relationships through timely communication, follow-up, and issue coordination. Communicate professionally with providers and internal stakeholders regarding contracting and provider relations matters. Escalate complex provider issues or contract questions to senior team members as appropriate. Support provider outreach and engagement activities as directed. Contract Administration & Operational Support Assist with preparation, routing, tracking, and maintenance of provider contracts, amendments, and related documentation. Support contract renewal and provider onboarding processes by coordinating documentation and tracking workflow progress. Maintain accurate provider records and contract files within internal systems and databases. Assist with updating provider information, templates, and departmental tracking tools. Support compliance with departmental procedures and documentation standards. Data Management & Reporting Support Maintain organized and accurate tracking of provider contracting activities and departmental workflows. Assist with spreadsheet updates, data entry, reporting, and basic analysis projects. Support data validation and audit activities related to provider contracts and network information. Utilize departmental systems and technology tools to support operational efficiency and accuracy. Claims & Issue Resolution Support Research routine provider questions related to claims, contract information, or reimbursement inquiries. Gather documentation and information needed to support issue investigation and resolution. Coordinate with internal departments to support timely resolution of provider concerns. Escalate issues involving complex contract interpretation or reimbursement analysis. Professional Development Develop foundational knowledge of provider contracting, managed care operations, reimbursement methodologies, and provider network administration. Participate in training and development opportunities to build knowledge of provider relations and healthcare operations. Continuously build proficiency in departmental systems, processes, and industry practices. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Ability to exercise professionalism and sound judgment in routine situations. Stand-Out From the Crowd Qualifications Internship, coursework, or prior experience in healthcare, insurance, customer service, business operations, or administrative support. Exposure to healthcare terminology, provider networks, or managed care concepts. Experience working with spreadsheets, databases, or workflow tracking tools Physical Aspects of the Job Regularly required to sit, work at a computer, and communicate via phone, video, and email. Occasionally required to stand or walk. Visual acuity required for computer-based work and document review. Occasional travel or schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs. Working under close supervision, the Coordinator develops foundational knowledge of provider contracting, provider reimbursement methodologies, and managed care operations while building strong organizational, communication, and relationship management skills.
