Job Description

job summary: Join our team as a Network Associate Engineer, where you will serve as the critical onsite technical lead for our Racine facilities. You will be the "hands and eyes" ensuring our data centers and manufacturing sites remain operational through expert physical hardware support.
location:
Racine, Wisconsin job type: Contract salary: $25 - 30 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: • Execute physical "remote-hands" tasks including equipment mounting, rack-and-stack, and complex cable management. Troubleshoot network hardware (switches, routers, APs) and resolve physical connectivity issues.

Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory audits, labeling, and CMDB updates.

Provide onsite support for workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices to ensure local user productivity.
qualifications:
• Proven experience in Data Center Networking Technologies and hardware operations. Ability to work onsite in Racine, WI at least 80% of the time. Experience with physical network infrastructure (cabling, labeling, and hardware resets).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Advanced knowledge of asset management systems and inventory control. Prior experience supporting IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or field site environment. Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with centralized engineering teams.
