Overview We are seeking a dynamic Forklift Service Technician to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining forklifts and other industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our customers' operations running smoothly by delivering top-tier service and technical support. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on forklifts, including engine, transmission, hydraulics, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems Use schematics and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues Conduct fabrication and assembly of parts or equipment as needed for repairs or upgrades Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, or other heavy equipment during maintenance or testing procedures Maintain detailed service records and documentation of all repairs performed Assist with tire service, wheel alignment, air brake systems, and welding tasks to ensure safety compliance Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair issues clearly and recommending maintenance solutions Skills Proven dealership experience with heavy equipment or industrial machinery repair Strong mechanical knowledge of forklifts, farm machinery, excavators, cranes, and similar equipment Skilled in reading schematics and using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and soldering tools Experience with automotive diagnostics, diesel engine repair, brake repair, transmissions, HVAC systems, and electrical troubleshooting Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment confidently Familiarity with OEM parts specifications and vehicle maintenance procedures Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values technical expertise and customer satisfaction!
