Job Description:
Akkodis is seeking a Site Admin role is a Contract with a clientin Montgomery, AL. We are seeking a professional with hands-on experience in server virtualization, server patching, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments. Should have strong troubleshooting skills across servers, networks, print services, and print queue management, with experience supporting network-connected devices and enterprise printers. Exposure to Microsoft Intune and Autopilot is preferred. Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing plant environment and supporting shop-floor operations, including shipping and production systems.
Pay Range:
$39-$41/ hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Notes:
Must have server virtualization/patching experience. They are using Intune and Auto Pilot. Printer support experience. They use Zebra printers in the plant. Must troubleshoot network/server/print que issues, so they can print labels for shipping. Networking-must have some basic network troubleshooting experience to resolve issues with networked devices. M/S-should have experience with
A-D, O-365
etc. Must be comfortable working in a plant environment. Will have to go on shop floor, which includes wearing goggles, steel toed boots etc.

In a numbered list, describe specific work experience requirements; include years of experience for each requirement: Minimum of 4+ years' experience with IT Service Desk, Network, Desktop, and servers. Minimum 3-5 years' experience performing system administrative experience position or equivalent on the job training is required. Advanced experience troubleshooting skills (Desktop/Server). Higher level tiered support. Experience with standard Microsoft protocols (i.e. DNS and DHCP) Experience with server virtualization environments desired. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures using Microsoft operating systems, application suites and tools. Familiar with basic network concepts, practices, and procedures. Experience higher level processing and applications (servers). Project management experience. Lean manufacturing experience and knowledge preferred. Manufacturing support experience preferred. In a numbered list, describe specific skills and/or business competencies: Ability to resolve business issues with IT solutions. Ability to effectively troubleshoot with strong analytical and logic-based skills. Ability to train and mentor IT professionals and end-users . Strong Customer service etiquette with solid verbal and written communication skills. Strong listening and critical thinking skills and ability to work with a large variety of Customers and high-stress situations. Ability to take initiative and adapt readily to changes in workload, staffing and scheduling. Exert Influence in site leadership regarding decision making, budgeting, and strategic planning. Innovative leader with the ability to solve complex IT challenges. Creative problem solver with break-through ideas. Exert influence in working with other managers, system sponsors, software developers, external consulting resources, network administrators, project managers, systems administrators and engineers, database administrators, end users, directors, and vice presidents.
