Installation & Service Technician Company Overview 101 Mobility is a leading provider of mobility and accessibility solutions, offering a wide range of products including stairlifts, residential elevators, ramps, and more. General Summary Services customers by evaluating, installing, maintaining, and servicing mobility and accessibility products and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently and with a team while ensuring the safe and effective installation and operation of mobility solutions. Core Functions Provides installation, service, repair, and instruction on the use of mobility products and equipment. Assists with home modifications and remodeling projects to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities. Schedules service calls and deliveries based on work orders. Installs, services, maintains, and repairs ramps, vertical platform lifts, patient lifts, auto lifts, residential elevators, and other related accessibility products. Contacts customers by phone and in person to provide technical service and support. Thoroughly trains customers on the safe and proper use of products and equipment. Evaluates customer environments to determine the most effective installation solutions for mobility products. Maintains warehouse inventory in an organized and efficient manner. Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. Coordinates daily work efforts with all aspects of the organization. Utilizes the company's operating system to document customer interactions, upload photos, complete paperwork, and manage scheduled appointments. Safely loads, unloads, and secures equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in installation, service, maintenance, construction, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, elevator, or related technical fields preferred. Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and the ability to determine effective solutions for customers. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and mobile technology applications. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds. Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments. Willingness to work occasional extended hours and weekends as needed. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with experience using hand and power tools. Experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting, or maintaining residential elevators is a plus. Experience with accessibility equipment, including stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, and patient lifts, is preferred. Physical Requirements Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull equipment weighing up to 100 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders for extended periods. Ability to work in residential and commercial environments. Ability to safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
