Job Summary We are seeking a Kafka Admin to manage and support distributed messaging platforms, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability. The role involves administering Kafka environments, monitoring system health, and supporting data streaming operations. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Kafka environments, including Confluent Kafka and Apache Kafka Monitor system performance and ensure availability of messaging platforms Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to Kafka clusters Manage and optimize Kafka configurations and system resources Execute Linux-based commands and scripting for system maintenance and automation Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data streaming and integration needs Utilize monitoring tools to track system performance and identify potential issues Required Qualifications 6-8 years of experience as a Kafka Administrator Hands-on experience with Confluent Kafka and Apache Kafka Strong experience with Linux platforms, including scripting and basic commands Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Effective communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ITRS, or Splunk
