Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer and optimize enterprise systems across multiple sites, including servers, networks, cloud platforms, and endpoint environments. Lead system standardization efforts across locations to ensure consistency, scalability, and security. Manage and maintain Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and related cloud services. Oversee on-prem and cloud-based server environments (Windows Server 2016-2025, Azure VMs, hybrid infrastructure). Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; proactively address risks. Enterprise Applications Administer and support Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and related ERP systems. Support integrations between ERP, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms. Assist in system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management. Security & Compliance Implement and enforce security best practices including MFA, privileged access, and endpoint protection. Support SOX compliance, including access controls, change management, and audit evidence. Participate in cybersecurity initiatives (e.g., SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management). Maintain policies related to identity, access, and data protection. Operational Support & Escalation Act as Tier 2/3 escalation for complex technical issues. Oversee and improve helpdesk processes, ensuring SLA adherence and service quality. Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including identity, device, and access provisioning. Provide after-hours support as needed for critical systems. Project & Continuous Improvement Lead or contribute to IT projects including system migrations, upgrades, and new implementations. Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency. Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, performance, and user experience. Vendor & Asset Management Coordinate with external vendors, MSPs, and system integrators. Manage licensing, renewals, and vendor relationships. Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and systems. Qualifications:
Required Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across infrastructure, applications, and networks. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple systems and projects simultaneously. Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to operate independently and take ownership of systems. Experience 5+ years of IT systems administration experience (enterprise environment preferred). 3+ years supporting Microsoft cloud technologies (M365, Azure, Entra ID). Experience with Windows Server environments (2016-2025). Experience supporting ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 F&O. Experience with virtualization and cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred). Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls). Preferred Experience in a multi-site or global IT environment. Knowledge of SOX compliance controls and IT audit requirements. Experience with PowerShell or automation scripting. Familiarity with Salesforce, Azure SQL, and system integrations. Manufacturing or industrial systems experience. VOIP / Teams Phone experience. Education Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience) Travel Occasional travel to company sites (domestic/international). Skills & Competencies:
Ability to work independently and on a team to meet time-sensitive deadlines. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively. Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 administration, group policies, and security settings. Familiarity with database systems such as SQL Server and Microsoft Access. Ability to document tasks, follow procedures, and work under deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Basic knowledge of Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for user support and troubleshooting common issues with these tools. Familiarity with basic database tools like Microsoft Access or SQL Server Management Studio for troubleshooting and database-related tasks.
