Job Description

Job Description The Boeing Company's Specialized Infrastructure Operations Organization is currently seeking a Windows Systems Administrator (Associate or Mid-Level) to join the team in Berkeley, MO. This position will install, operate, secure and maintain dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure that is required to deliver products to our customers. As a Systems Administrator, your expertise will play a crucial role in integrating logistics, manufacturing, and engineering into a cohesive ecosystem. You will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of a secure network that supports all tools and, more importantly, the personnel involved in this mission. This role directly supports our Air Dominance (AD) programs. You will be tasked with installing, operating, securing, and maintaining the dedicated Program Information Technology Infrastructure necessary for delivering products to our customers. We offer Enterprise capabilities within closed networks, encompassing standard office functions, application development stacks, engineering workflows, vulnerability remediation, and more. Your Responsibilities Analyze and support a broad range of basic systems and application support activities Provide support for Windows Operating Systems (OS) Provide basic network support Support of VMware ESX environments Provide operations support for both servers and desktop systems Provide analysis of computing requirements Install, configure, and maintain systems hardware, software and components Ensure computing inventory tracking and shipping Document and implement computer applications Provide restoration of basic computing service operation Support activities to ensure security of information and systems Provide comprehensive computing support in closed environments Protect classified and proprietary information Support security audits as assigned Maintain knowledge of various government and corporate security plans What We Are Looking For Ability to obtain access to Special Access Programs (SAP) Active Security+ certification or the ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of your start date 1+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Windows Server (2016 or later) and Windows desktop OS (Windows 10 or later) 1+ years of experience in performing hardware installation, modification and testing 1+ years of experience implementing software What We Offer Competitive base pay and variable compensation opportunities Health insurance Flexible spending accounts Health savings accounts Retirement savings plans Life and disability insurance programs Programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work Job Details Function Corporate Sub-Function IT, Software & Data Science Work Type Onsite Contract Full-Time Location Berkeley, United States Job
