KESLOW CAMERA IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!
Overview The Camera Service Technician is a key position in our Camera Service & Repair department that is primarily responsible for maintaining a high level of technical and aesthetic excellence, quality control, general service, maintenance, general repairs on motion picture cameras and related equipment. In house, and in the field customer service, addressing technical questions and concerns.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Addresses customer questions and concerns
  • Service, maintain, and repair various types of cameras and video equipment
  • Be an example of our company culture in the department: Positivity, Teamwork, Pride, and Striving
  • Work is highly technical, involving disassembling and reassembling of cameras and equipment
  • Assess equipment for wear and tear, or damage
  • Operate measuring tools to calibrate parts and equipment
  • Manufacture support cables for electronic equipment
  • Maintain cameras, monitors, transmitters, camera and lens control systems, tripods, studio heads, and all other camera items (collectively referred to as "camera gear")
  • Package equipment and ensure safe handling prior to leaving the Camera Service Department
  • Assist in maintaining the service area
  • Communicate with the Camera Service Management on gear maintenance and subsequent support of equipment
Qualifications:
  • 3 years working as service technician in the motion picture camera industry
  • Working knowledge of ARRI, Sony, and RED camera systems
  • Basic mechanical engineering courses and/or knowledge is a plus
  • Basic electronics courses and/or knowledge is a plus
  • Familiarity with Mac operating system
  • Exceptional Customer Service skills (friendly, courteous and helpful)
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask and meet deadlines while maintaining quality and accuracy
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting up to 40-50 lbs. of cases and/or equipment
  • Sitting and standing for long periods of time
  • Potential overtime required
