Job Description
Senior Security Technician/Supervisor with Commercial Sales Opportunities (FOS/TSS) Andtech, an Orange County systems integrator that specializes in the Installation and Service of Security and Communication systems is looking to add to our team. First, Thank you for including us in your search! Our services include; Burglar/Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV systems and more. We work with a wide variety of technologies in all job phases, from initial wiring to project completion. We perform our duties by the standard, "Do it right the first time," and our customer satisfaction reflects that. This Dual-Function role combines technical-supervisory and hands-on requirements for Installations and Service with an opportunity to drive new business that increases your bottom line. This is the ideal position for someone who knows the Alarm Industry, is Fire Alarm and ACE Certified (blue card and consumer affair's holder), feels they can successfully represent and sell to HOA's and the commercial market and prefers to work in a successful family business vs. a corporate environment. Technical duties include overseeing operations in the field, managing subs and technicians, performing services (including installations), system preparation / pre-testing new equipment (completed at the office) and documentation. The Sales portion will require design and quote generation, calling on clients and the execution of Client / Prospect Sales meetings. The FOS/TSS will act as a leader/role model and shall have the capacity to train, supervise and motivate other members of the team. You will have the ability to work independently within a given timeframe as well as work with a team. This position calls for an assertive, detail-oriented candidate who is willing to do what it takes to complete the job on schedule, ensuring customer satisfaction and the success of the team.

- Able to install conduit, run wires, solder, label connections, document and process paperwork daily in a professional manner when the need arises.

- Orange County Resident (preferred).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS STATE BACKGROUND CHECK & LIVESCAN
- High School / AS College Diploma.
- Fluent in English Language (Speak, Read, & Write).
- Possess math skills and be able to demonstrate.
- Must have clean DMV record to drive company vehicles.
- PC & Windows literacy.
- Possess their own hand and cordless tools along with meters and understand their value.
- 7 years' Installing and Servicing Burglary Alarms (Commercial & Residential).
- 5 years' in CCTV installation and service (I.P. & Analog).
- 7 years' experience in low voltage wire installation.
- Certified and comfortable with lifts (scissor and snorkel).
- Is dependable, punctual and make a good teammate.
- Share On Call responsibilities.
- ACE Card Holder
- Andtech is registered as a professional Alarm Company Operator (ACO).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of industry terminology and applications.
- Fire Life Safety Certified (Blue Card Possession).
- 5 years' Installing, Servicing, and Testing Commercial Fire Alarms and Fire Life Safety Systems.
- 3 Years' experience in Access Control installation and Service.
- 5 Years' troubleshooting and programing Networking, Communications & RF Products.
- Technical Education
- Have completed a college course "D.C. Theory" or equivalent (electronics certification knowledge). Proof may be required.
- Demonstrable knowledge of manufacture products.
- Able to read and follow blueprints.
- Able to work with the AHJ to receive signoff of permitted projects.
- Understands the importance in communicating with management as projects progress.
- Able to design and estimate system installation costs of above and generate customer proposals (share in commissions of all successful transactions that meet minimal profit threshold).
- Ability to assist with routine maintenance of service vehicles.
- Assist with warehouse stocking, order and pickup product when needed.
