As a Software Operations Engineer, you will be using your software & programming experience to ensure that the fast-paced distribution facility is always running at full capacity, carrying out essential maintenance on the facilities software, bug fixing and making sure that the software to control all the systems within the facility are running correctly.

Your Responsibilities:
Monday
  • Friday shift pattern, working from 2:30pm
  • 11:30pm. Strong knowledge and understanding of the following
  • Linux, SQL & Oracle to an operational standard, being able to run commands and troubleshoot/bug fix.
Previous experience working on either Java, C++ or Python as programming languages, ideally with some experience in scripting/coding. Responsibility for the sites ITIL systems. Analysis of systems within the business to provide a continuous growth including a concentration on Root Cause Analysis and performance of machines. Work in collaboration with the Logistics Operations Manager to ensure work is planned in mind with business goals. Involvement in process and operational redesign.
Your Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Programming experience across any of Linux, Java, Oracle, SQL & C++. Knowledge of WMS, WCS and SRC. Ideally have worked within warehousing/distribution/fulfilment or within consumer goods within a fast-paced environment. Good communication and organisational skills. Strong data analysis skills. Continuous improvement of existing processes with the ability to implement new strategies.
