We are looking for highly motivated and talented engineers with expertise in embedded systems integration and regression testing and a strong drive to dive deep into embedded Linux platforms. You will drive integration and regression testing of embedded Linux hardware, diving deep into embedded peripherals and build scalable solutions to support our growing product lines. You will join a talented group of system software, Linux BSP, and integration engineers who are building the best-in-class energy and charging system controllers. What You'll Do Design and implement scalable regression testing frameworks for embedded Linux platforms, integrating with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, PyTest) Collaborate with system software and BSP engineers to validate hardware-software interactions and debug complex issues Build and maintain HIL/SIL test environments using programmable power supplies, managed switches, and IoT relays Develop AI-driven tools to analyze test data, predict failures, and automate triage workflows Partner with QA and test automation teams to define test strategies and ensure alignment with system requirements Aid in the validation of codebase changes ensuring quality of shipped embedded Linux code What You'll Bring 1-2 years of experience in embedded systems development (RTOS, Linux, or bare-metal), with a focus on testing, integration, or deployment Proficient in Python; familiarity with Golang/Rust is a plus Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins) and test frameworks (PyTest) Strong understanding of embedded hardware debugging (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) and networking protocols (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP) Experience with programmable power supplies, managed switches, IoT relays, Hardware Abstraction Layers and HIL setup components Comfortable reading technical documentation and translating requirements into testable specifications Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Expected Compensation $120,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
