They need a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a systems administrator/engineer. The client needs a plug in option, someone well rounded("Master of some"). The client needs someone who is technically deep, comfortable calling vendors, a problem solver and service oriented and collaborative. They will work 5 days on site and be on-call for any network issues. This cannot be someone trying to "punch-up" from a helpdesk position, they are also not going to be pushing anyone to management.

Technical Environment:

• 90% on‑prem
• Strong preference to keep data on‑prem
• Cloud mostly limited to 3rd‑party SaaS
• Security‑first organization Tech Stack
• Windows Server (standardized)
• Active Directory (deep knowledge required)
• Microsoft Exchange on‑prem
• Networking (routing & switching)

• SQL / DBMS

  experience (SQL, MySQL, Oracle
• not expert‑level required)
• Some Linux/Unix exposure (nice to have) Current / Upcoming Initiatives
• Transitioning from Cisco routers Check Point firewalls with SD‑WAN
• Check Point experience = major plus

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00

• $72.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
