Responsibilities Engage in proactive outside sales efforts to identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories, utilizing lead generation techniques such as cold calling, networking, and market research. Manage existing client accounts through effective account management strategies, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships. Conduct compelling product demos and presentations to showcase features, benefits, and technical specifications tailored to client needs. Develop and execute territory management plans to maximize coverage, increase market penetration, and meet sales targets. Collaborate with marketing teams to implement targeted campaigns that support business development initiatives. Utilize CRM software such as Jobber to track leads, manage customer interactions, analyze sales data, and forecast future opportunities. Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability and alignment with company policies. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and upselling complementary products or services. Lead efforts in inside sales when necessary by making follow-up calls, managing inbound inquiries, and supporting overall sales activities. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and identify emerging opportunities. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and territory performance to support ongoing improvement initiatives. Experience Proven success in outside sales or B2B (business-to-business) sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong management skills with experience overseeing territory or account portfolios. Familiarity with CRM software such as Jobber or similar platforms for lead tracking and customer relationship management. Demonstrated ability in business development through lead generation strategies including cold calling and networking. Skilled in product demonstrations, technical sales approaches, negotiation tactics, and upselling techniques. Excellent communication skills complemented by analysis skills for assessing market data and customer needs. Experience in retail sales or inside sales roles is advantageous but not mandatory. Knowledge of marketing principles related to technology or product promotion is a plus.
