explore your role with Televic This opportunity consists of two parts : in-field support and remote support . In-Field support Travel across North America to work on vehicles at train manufacturers' facilities, operator locations, or even dynamic test runs. You'll ensure our passenger information and communication systems are properly installed and fully functional.Key responsibilities include:
Installing and configuring our software on trains Providing hands-on training for clients and technicians Performing thorough testing and inspections to meet quality standards Documenting your work clearly using tools like JIRA and Confluence Remote Support (Sacramento-based) When not traveling, you'll work from our U.S. headquarters in Sacramento, California, providing critical technical support.Responsibilities include:
Serving as the primary technical contact for clients Troubleshooting technical issues and solving problems remotely Collaborating with Project Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery Your Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT , or a related technical field Proficient in system testing and troubleshooting ; foundational knowledge of Linux, hardware, software, and networking (TCP/IP, FTP, SSH) Strong analytical skills, able to work independently and under pressure Clear verbal and written communication in English; additional languages (French, Spanish, German, Arabic) are a plus Willing to travel up to 50% or more , primarily within North America with occasional international travelSimilar jobs in Sacramento, CA
