$30.00•$40.00 per hour D.O.E. About Bard Water District Bard Water District is a public agency located in Winterhaven, California, along the lower Colorado River. The district oversees the operation and maintenance of irrigation water delivery and drainage facilities across approximately 14,600 acres and plays a vital role in supporting agricultural activity in the region. Position Summary Bard Water District is looking for a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and continuity of our organization's IT infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Configure, manage, and maintain servers to support day-to-day operations Configure and monitor firewall systems to protect the organization's network and data Implement, manage, and monitor backup systems, both on-premises and in the cloud, ensuring data integrity and recovery readiness Required Qualifications Proven experience in server administration and infrastructure management Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and network security monitoring Hands-on experience configuring wireless networks Experience with local and cloud-based backup solutions Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure Experience with Fortinet products (FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, etc.) Experience configuring Ubiquiti point-to-point and point-to-multipoint products, or similar wireless bridge/backhaul solutions Compensation Full-time position, Monday through Friday, first shift Salary based on experience Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance Retirement plan How to Apply Please apply at Bardwaterdistrict.com We look forward to hearing from you.
