Systems Administrator Compensation:
$35 - $50/hour, depending on experience
Location:
Denver, Colorado Inceed has partnered with a growing company in the Oil & Gas industry to help identify a talented Jr. Systems Administrator to join their team! We're looking for an up-and-coming IT professional who is ready to take the next step beyond service desk support and further develop their infrastructure and systems administration experience. This individual will play a key role in supporting enterprise systems, hardware, and day-to-day IT operations across a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Support and maintain servers, enterprise hardware, and core IT systems Assist with hardware deployments, upgrades, configurations, and troubleshooting Partner with Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk teams to support system performance and reliability Maintain and update technical documentation and internal procedures Provide escalated support for technical issues and assist with ongoing IT projects Monitor systems and contribute to meeting operational and SLA expectations Assist with office setup initiatives and infrastructure-related projects
Required Qualifications & Experience:
3+ years of IT experience (helpdesk, desktop support, or junior systems administration) Foundational experience with Windows Server administration Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure AD Exposure to Microsoft 365 technologies including Exchange Online and Teams Basic scripting knowledge, preferably with PowerShell Understanding of networking concepts such as VLANs, DNS, and VPNs Nice to
Have Skills & Experience:
Exposure to virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V, Citrix, Nutanix, or AVD Basic cloud platform experience (Azure or AWS) Experience with backup and recovery tools such as Commvault Familiarity with enterprise storage solutions including
Dell, Pure Storage, or NetApp Perks & Benefits:
