6+ Month Contract About the Role We are seeking a highly technical Senior Systems Administrator to support and enhance a complex hybrid IT infrastructure environment. This role is focused on maintaining system stability, security, performance, and operational efficiency across a Windows environment while driving infrastructure improvements and automation initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on infrastructure professional who thrives in enterprise environments and enjoys troubleshooting, security remediation, systems optimization, and modernization efforts. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Windows and Linux server environments Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, and security policies Support physical and virtual infrastructure including Hyper-V and virtualization technologies Analyze and remediate infrastructure, systems, and IT security issues Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and system optimization Collaborate with IT teams to improve operational processes and infrastructure reliability Support enterprise applications and ERP environments Implement automation and scripting solutions to improve efficiency Maintain system confidentiality, integrity, and availability following IT best practices Required Qualifications 7+ years of Systems Administration experience in enterprise environments Strong Windows Administration experience including: Active Directory Group Policy PowerShell scripting Security administration Experience administering Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.) Experience with virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V or VMware Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Experience supporting hybrid infrastructure environments Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications Azure Intune experience IT Security or infrastructure certifications Experience with ERP systems and enterprise applications Experience improving infrastructure standards, automation, and operational processes
